Charge Of Hope
A downloadable game
This is Charge Of Hope, my RPG for the Game Jam Tactical Heroic Cinematic Fantasy Gamedesign-Jam, hosted by Little Lab. The game is based on Charge, a system created by Fari RPG.
In this game, you are a Hero recruited by the Hero Guild, an association that solves world problems and calamities, like dragons, aliens, and more!
Thanks to the Charge System, you can play a cinematic rules-light RPG, but I worked on various rules to allow players to play a tactical-grid-based RPG easily.
Charge Of Hope offers a toolbox to create powers with detailed characteristics like Range, Targets, Type, and Duration.
Charge of Hope can have Classes and pre-generated Class powers, but its best potential lies behind its free, quick Class-less Character Creation.
In order to have a stand-alone game on a single page, I had to remove extra details which could take Charge of Hope's game experience on a facultative deeper level. But for the future, I plan to add Risk and Effect Multipliers to get/inflict more damage from powerful sources. I would also use this idea to double up the number of clock sections (Condition too).
Creating different Multipliers for Effects of specific Skills, Powers, and Action Rolls can be interesting Features to determine the uniqueness of Classes.
I hope you can enjoy Charge of Hope!
